Cameron Diaz Makes a Chic Arrival in Cannes

Cameron Diaz arrived in the South of France today, just as the Cannes Film Festival prepares to wrap up the festivities this weekend. While she doesn’t have a movie premiering or screening at the festival, actors will oftentimes drop by the bash to raise money for new projects, or simply delight in the surrounding parties. Cameron flew out to France while taking a small break from filming The Other Woman in NYC. She shot scenes with Nicki Minaj earlier this week and her costar Leslie Mann was spotted on set yesterday. Hopefully Cameron will get a chance to meet up with her ancient friend Leonardo DiCaprio, who has been taking part in the Cannes nightlife after doing press for The Fantastic Gatsby at the festival last week. Cameron and Leo are hardly the only stars who are visiting the festival – check out all the celebrities at the Cannes Film Festival before the party stops on Sunday.

The actor brought along his son, Jaden, to the show this time, and what initially started as the young man showing off his rapping skillz quickly descended into pretty much the best reunion EVER, as Will not only brought out DJ Jazzy Jeff to bask in some early ’90s nostalgia…but ALSO his Prince co-star, Alfonso Ribeiro AKA Carlton Banks!
Oh, and Hangover co-stars Bradley Cooper and Heather Graham are there to serve as back-up dancers!
We can’t even START to tell you how AH-MAY-ZING the whole spectacle turns out to be!
Best REUNION ever!

0Taking care of some promotional duties, Brooklyn Decker and James Van Der Beek showed up at the Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution’s 2013 LA Screenings Lot Party in Los Angeles last night (May 23).
The “Battleship” babe and the “Varsity Blues” hunk were joined by Majandra Delfino as they milled around the Twentieht Century Fox Studio Lot and mingled with fellow guests.
In a recent interview, James talked about moving past his “Dawson’s Creek” stereotype and getting on with his career courtesy of his recently-cancelled show “Don’t Trust the B- in Apartment 23.”
“It absolutely, I reckon, took me out of one mold that I’d been in for a while. It’s tough to compete with something that was the cultural phenomenon that ‘Dawson’s Creek’ was. It ran for so long. That’s a lot of hours playing one character in front of people. So it’s natural that they associate you with that. And also the nature of television, you’re in their living room, so it’s even more immediate. I wish I could say it was a calculated, intelligent choice, but it really was just something that I thought was amusing, that I hadn’t really done before, and there were just fantastic people involved. In terms of what it did for me? It was an opportunity to do comedy on a regular basis. Which I really loved. I feel like walking down the street, I do get called ‘Dawson’ a lot less these days. So maybe that’s a measure of what the show did. Now when people mock me on the street, they use my real name.”

Apparently, according to this just-released statement:
