We’ve just learned that One for the Money star Katherine Heigl has signed on to star in Face Blind, which she’ll also be producing.
The indie flick is being described as follows:
“…An independent thriller about a psychologist struck with a rare affliction that makes it impossible to distinguish people by their faces. When a man who terrorized her most vulnerable patient stalks her, the psychologist can’t recognize him, and her husband thinks she’s the one who is going crazy.”
Really sounds pretty cool! Perhaps this one will save Katherine’s movie career!

Rooney Mara Receives SBIFF Virtuosos Award
0Receiving yet another accolade thanks to her performance in “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo,” Rooney Mara looked glamorous in green as she arrived on the red carpet at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, California on Friday night (February 3).
The 26-year-ancient actress was on-hand to be presented as one of this year’s recipients of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s Virtuosos Award – with the tribute having been made to “recognize a select group of actors who have distinguished themselves through performances in film.”
With other 2012 Virtuosos Award honorees including Shailene Woodley, Patton Oswalt, Andy Serkis, Demián Bichir and Melissa McCarthy, Festival Director Roger Durling said of the selections, “I’m ecstatic about this strong line-up of Virtuosos. They all gave us indelible performances.”
The SBIFF evening comes as Miss Mara was recently interviewed by Vanity Honest for their March 2012 Hollywood Issue (watch below) – in which she spoke about how her taste in film isn’t usually satisfied by the mainstream entertainment industry.
“Most of the actors I admire the most don’t get that much press, but on purpose. I reckon usually throughout the year, some of the best performances are sort of the ones that are under the radar,” Rooney opined. “I usually reckon the most fascinating work is the work that is not viewed by the masses.”

During a press conference for the Super Bowl halftime show, Madonna had the following to say when questioned if she would possibly join The X Factor as a judge:
“I reckon I have enough jobs, but thank you for thinking of me — if you did, Simon [Cowell].”
That’s okay, Madge! We’re sure Simon will figure out another perfect choice for that judging position! LOLz!

The Mother Monster was in her usual expressive form, as she flashed a small skin, held up a football and climbed aboard a motorcycle in the black and white shots.
As for the pigskin clenching pic, Gaga is especially interested in this weekend’s Super Bowl – as her hometown New York Giants are taking on the New England Patriots.
Of the gridiron action, the 25-year-ancient tweeted, “Looking forward to seeing the Superbowl! The halftime show will be wonderful I’m sure. An excuse to drink beer+watch boys in tights.”
Girls Gone Wild Creator Joe Francis Threatens Madonna With Legal Action Over Trademark Usage In New Song!

Joe Francis, who made the Girls Gone Wild series, has slapped Madonna with a stop-and-desist letter over the usage of his franchise name as a title of one her new songs on MDNA, and is threatening legal action if she does not comply to certain terms!
According to the letter, which asserts that the pop icon is trying to get a “free ride on the valuable consumer goodwill and brand recognition” of the Girls Gone Wild trademark, she must negotiate a licensing agreement for it usage, holding accountable the number of times she’s already used it, and she must not perform the song during the Super Bowl halftime show!
What?! That last part seems seriously ridiculous!
Apparently, Madge has to answer by 5pm PST today before legal action is taken.

0Fresh off a plane from Miami, FL – Kim Kardashianwas spotted back home in Los Angeles, CA on Friday (February 3).
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star glowed from a recent spray tan, but remained expressionless as she walked out of the busy airport and signed a few autographs along the way.
Now that she’s back on the market, a tabloid report is claiming that Kim is now dating New Jersey Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.
Quickly shooting the gossip down, Ms Kardashian tweeted this morning, “Dating rumors are always fun when u don’t even know the people your supposedly linked to! Who makes this stuff up!”

Vanessa Hudgens only had eyes for boyfriend Austin Butler on the carpet at last night’s LA premiere of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. They were joined at the event by her costars Josh Hutcherson, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and a Monique Lhuillier-clad Kristin Davis at Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Rachel McAdams doesn’t have a role in the film, but her The Vow is coming out soon. She donned a gorgeous Peter Som dress and shirt for the occasion, and later attended the afterparty at The Colony nightclub to pose for pictures with High School Musical buds Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa. The screening was held a week before the movie arrives in theaters next Friday, Feb. 10. The cast has spent a fantastic deal of time together recently. Vanessa, Josh, and the gang were just in Hawaii for a press junket – stay tuned for our chat with them! There were hours free from press duties, though, and Vanessa Hudgens slipped into a bikini for some beach fun with Austin.

Man In Obama Mask Robs McDonald’s!
0WTF?!
A man robbed a McDonald’s last Saturday in Florida in an Obama mask.
He held up the employees at gunpoint and forced all of them into the back office while instructing the manager to empty the cash registers and place the money in a bag he brought.
The police are still on the lookout for the masked robber.
We’re not sure if this is a protest or a joke but we don’t like it! It’s disrespectful to use someone’s face like that, no matter who’s it’s supposed to look like.
Ugh!
