Stevie Nicks Says Reese Witherspoon Is “Almost” Too Old To Play Her In A Movie!
0Damn, Stevie Nicks! For a feminist, you sure aren’t showing much like for one of your fellow ladies!
In her recently released documentary, In Your Dreams, the Fleetwood Mac songstress discussed the possibility of Reese Witherspoon playing her in a future biopic, but said that at 37 years of age the actress might already be too ancient to play her:
“I’ve already told [Reese] she’s nearly too ancient. I like her, but she’s like, ‘I could play your mother.’ I’m like ‘O.K.’”
Seriously??
We reckon she would be the PERFECT choice to play Stevie, especially after her Oscar-winning performance as June Carter in the Johnny Cash biopic, Walk The Line!
And have you seen Reese lately?? She still looks INCREDIBLE!
We LIKE Stevie, but we’re not quite sure if we agree with her on this one. Besides, if Reese is too ancient, who else will they get to play the singer?
Maybe they should see if Chloe Moretz is available! LOLz!

And it looks like she barely escaped being majorly CRUSHED by a falling car (above)!

Oh right, he’s probably too busy getting intimate with his real-life lady like Emma Stone.

Kourtney Kardashian’s Relationship Almost Ruined By Scott Disick’s Date Ditch In Paris
0Doesn’t he know Paris is the city for lovers??
Clearly, someone isn’t too familiar with the romantic feeling of Paris because Scott Disick was all about everything BUT romance during the latest episode of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami.
While Kourtney Kardashian was trying to show her like to her man by plotting the trip, Scott was trying to live it up like Lord Disick does!
He not only invited friends on the trip, but he bailed on his baby momma during the one thing she wanted to do – a visit to the Pont Des Arts bridge where lovers lock up their like with a padlock and throw the key into the water.
Kourtney revealed the activity was a huge step for her in proving to Scott that he’s still a priority as she said:
“Writing our names on the padlock and throwing our key into the river will just be something that will show Scott how vital our relationship is and I reckon it’s just a really special thing to do.”
Unfortunately, she got really ditched by her longtime like who finished up shopping while she waited. She later admitted:
“I am so hurt that Scott didn’t show up at the bridge when it’s like the one thing that I really wanted to do while we were in Paris. I’m just so upset he didn’t take me seriously and would stand me up like this.”
Luckily, Scott lived up to his royal title by eventually getting his shizz together, apologizing to Kourtney, and taking her back to the bridge to lock up their like.

Ben Savage Says Girl Meets World Is Almost Here!!!
0If only “nearly” meant today. LOLz!
If you haven’t heard, Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have agreed to make a new version of their classic show Boy Meets World, only this one is called Girl Meets World… AND IT’S NEARLY HERE!
Ben was questioned about the project and said, “We’re nearly there!”
That’s far from a certain release date, but we’ll take it. “Nearly” is better than nothing!
He also made sure to clear up that it’s not trying to be the ancient show, saying:
“Everyone associated with the show wanted to make sure that if we were to come back, that we weren’t going to do it in a way that was going to be a disservice to the show. No one wanted to really cash in, if you will, too early, or no one really wanted to do something that was going to be cheesy. … We want to do justice to the characters, and we want to make sure we respect people’s memories of the show.”
That’s wonderful to hear.
If there’s one thing we like, it’s a fantastic thing building on another.

Jon Stewart Almost Driven To Quit The Daily Show!
0What could possibly have made Jon Stewart quit The Daily Show?
Apparently he wasn’t always the most trusted man in fake news! When he first got the job, a lot of the staff gave him a really hard time! He says:
“I had, before taking [the job], some conversations with the powers that be there about the direction I thought we could go the show….
I wanted it to be satirical in the classic sense of the word, not the Spy magazine sense of the word where you just add adjectives like ‘pepperpot’.”
But it didn’t go quite as plotted. Jon says:
“What I did not realize is, a lot of the people who worked there were a–holes…
I walk in the door, into a room with the writers and producers, and the first thing they say is ‘this isn’t some MTV bulls–t’…. And then I was told not to change the jokes or improvise.”
Jon called his manager, begging him to get him out of the job, but was eventually talked down. Thank goodness he stuck it out!
In fact, he had to stick it out for over two years before finally getting a staff that was really supportive of the show’s new direction.
And a dozen Emmys make a fantastic “I told you so”!

Victoria Beckham Almost Skipped Olympic Show!

It seems that Victoria Beckham was thisclose to NOT participating in the Spice Girls reunion show at the epic musical event that was the London 2012 Olympics Closing Ceremony, because she is just SUCH a busy mamma-fashionista bee!
One insider reveals:
“The lone holdout during the entire negotiation process leading up to the Games had been Victoria. Victoria said her schedule just wouldn’t permit it because of commitments with her fashion line and her duties of being a mother, including daughter, Harper, who just turned one year ancient. The ladies chose they would perform without Victoria because they felt it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to play for a worldwide audience at the Olympics. Once Victoria learned of their plans she was able to juggle her schedule to allow her to perform too.”
Awww was someone feeling a small left out? And perhaps a leettle over-confident?
Ah well, we’re just glad Mrs. David Beckham DID deign to grace the mother effing OLYMPICS with her spindly self, otherwise that black-cab craaaay performance wouldn’t have packed quite the same nostalgia-inducing punch!

0It’s always so fascinating to hear about this sort of thing!
Katharine McPhee has gone from American Idol to movies like The House Bunny and Shark Night to the lead in Smash, but according to the actress/singer, she was this close to being cast in the breakout comedy The Hangover!
She clarifies:
“It was between me and the girl who got it for The Hangover [as] the bride. I didn’t get it, but I went all the way. I would have loved to play that part. It was so much better than I would have ever thought it could be. It was unbelievably hysterical, and I remember in the theater I was like, ‘I wish I had gotten that part!’ “
Of course it would have been fun to be involved in that project in any capacity, but we doubt she’s too torn up about it!
The brides in those movies always have the least to do! Ha!
But hey!
We reckon that despite the rejection, you’ve landed pretty well on your feet, gurl!
Maybe there will be a part for you in the third one!

Anna Paquin is featured on the cover of the mid December issue of LA Weekly, which picked her ancient new movie Margaret, the best of the year – even though it was filmed in 2005 and subsequently delayed in post production until now!

LMFAO Was Almost Set On Fire, Had To Cut Show Short!
0We’d make a joke about how on fire LMFAO is in popularity right now, but RedFoo already made that joke. Sigh!
Anyway, LMFAO was performing a show in Honduras when the show got cut small… because a fire broke out!
Nobody was severely hurt, but more than a dozen people WERE treated for smoke inhalation! It was pretty serious!
Here’s what RedFoo had to say:
“Epic concert tonight!!!! Everybody in Honduras, we set the place on fire!!! They told us that there was a fire when we were on stage. Then we went to the dressing rooms and there was smoke in the halls.”
“On a serious note. Hope everybody is safe from the fire tonight! like you Honduras!”
We’re glad everyone is safe too! It’s a shame it had to be cut small!
We wonder what happened! Did someone set the fire, or was it an accident??
