Chaz Bono Proposes To Longtime Girlfriend On Being Chaz!

Chaz Bono proposed to his longtime girlfriend Jennifer Elia atop the Space Needle in Seattle, WA.
Before presenting her with the diamond engagement ring, Chaz said:
“I wanted to pick a special place to give you your birthday present, and I hope you like this.”
Afterwards, Jennifer was clearly shocked with the proposal.

Elijah Wood Talks Happy Feet Two and His “Bizarre, but Oddly Normal” Return to Being Frodo

Elijah Wood‘s schedule is jam-packed with projects lately including starring in the dark comedy TV series Wilfred and filming Peter Jackson’s upcoming Lord of the Rings prequel, The Hobbit, but he recently chatted with us about his lighter film, Pleased Feet Two. He’s reprising his role as Mumbles the penguin and revealed he spent most of his time in the studio with newcomer to the franchise, Pink, though he didn’t get to work with Matt Damon or Brad Pitt, who also lent their voice to the animated feature. In addition to the children’s film, Elijah also shared new details about returning to New Zealand and stepping back into Frodo’s oversized hobbit feet, which he described as “bizarre, but oddly normal.” Check out our interview with Elijah and be sure to catch Pleased Feet Two in theaters on Nov. 18.

New Michael Jackson Remix Being Released

The album is due out November 21st and will include mixes from over 40 of Jackson’s hit songs.

Kanye And Jay-Z Are Being Sued By A Soul Musician
0Kanye and Jay-Z have made some incredible music, but unfortunately there’s sometimes a fine line between being inspired and just plain ancient stealing!
And there’s a soul musician named Syl Johnson and a lawsuit out there that says they crossed that line:
In a complaint filed in Illinois federal court on Friday, Johnson claims the two well-known hip hop artists plus UMG and Def Jam took a part of his song, “Different Strokes,” used it on a song entitled “The Joy,” and released it in August without his permission and without giving him any credit or payment.
Johnson says that West originally wanted to use the sample for his own solo album entitled My Gorgeous Dark Twisted Family, but that the defendant was unable to obtain permission at the time of release. After failure to clear a license for the sample on one album, West’s use of the sample on another album without permission is said to be an example of knowing and willful misappropriation.
It really does sound like that, but we’re only hearing one side of the tale.
Plus, Syl is known for just suing the crap out of people. In one case, the lawsuit he had with Cypress Hill was dropped in 2008 (for a song that Hill used in 1993), so Syl sued his own lawyers for malpractice for providing allegedly terrible representation.
Wow.
So it’ll be fascinating to see where this goes!

Madonna Gets Sued For Being a Noisy Neighbor

Having to face the music for apparently living way too loud, Madonna has been slapped with a lawsuit by a neighbor citing excessive noise complaints.
According to the filing, the Material Girl’s former neighbor, Karen George, was repeatedly subjected to the singer’s “blaring music, stomping and shaking walls” for up to three hours each day.
According to the New York Post, the suit continued, “Despite Ms. George’s repeated complaints over the past seventeen months to the defendants concerning this situation, the pounding noise and vibration continues to emanate from Madonna’s apartment, and Ms. George has been forced to endure substantial interference with her tenancy by virtue of defendants’ failure to fulfill their obligations.”
Madonna, who has since went out of the New York City flat, made an attempt to have the case dismissed, but, a judge turned down that request.

WTF! iPads Being Smuggled Across Hong Kong Border On Zipline!

Precious Apple iPads were being smuggled across the Hong Kong border to the city of Shenzhen through a pretty ingenious plot – a zipline!!
Six smugglers were arrested after $ 46,000 worth of iPads and iPhones were confiscated.

Video Of Casey Anthony Drinking A Beer Being Shopped Around
0Ugh. Seriously, people? Does anyone really want to see a video of Casey Anthony drinking a beer?
Apparently so because a video of Casey drinking a Corona and laughing as she gets off a private jet in Florida is allegedly being shopped around for the best offer.
The vid shows Casey smiling and jokingly saying, “I concur” to her former lawyer Todd Macaluso.
This just comes off the heels of the buy of a Casey Anthony mask, which sold on eBay for nearly $ 1 million.
WTF?!
Is this really the best way to spend your money? Seems pretty sick to us.

Breezy Busted For Being A Bad Neighbor
0Chris Brown has some pissed off neighbors.
According to them, he blasts loud music all the time, races his dogs down the hall at all hours of the night, and parks ALL of his cars in the handicapped spots.
The building manager is tired of complaints and plans to tow Breezy’s car if he parks there again.
According to Brown’s reps, though, two of those spots are clearly reserved for him in the deed.
Okay, first of all, if those spots were reserved for him, that building manager needs to stop being star-crazy and know better than to give a non-handicapped person one of those blue spots.
Second, and this one’s for you Chris Brown, why are you playing loud music and racing your dogs at night?
We don’t reckon your image is any kind of position to act aloof to the standards of common decency.

Nicolas Cage Being Sued Over Vampire Movie!

It seems like Nicolas Cage is CONSTANTLY involved in some sort of financial/personal/legal dramz, and now he’s got a new issue to contend with…or really an 11 year ancient issue!
Back in 2000, Nicolas Cage was a producer on vamp film Shadow of the Vampire, and it appears that he owes another producer from the film at least $ 77,176!
According to the lawsuit filed by Early Bird Productions, Shadow producer Paul Brooks was owed $ 77k+ for his work on the film, and Nic was supposed to pay him, but never did.
Don’t worry, Nic. We know $ $ $ is sometimes tight for ya, but we’re sure you can earn this money pret-ty quickly.
…Perhaps another couple of Ghost Rider sequels???

Jennifer Lawrence Looks Lovely as She Shares About Getting Naked For the Big Screen and Being Treated Like a Star

Jennifer Lawrence brought her rising star to the pages of Elle with a spread in their June issue. The actress is coming off a thrilling award season full of honors for her performance in Winter’s Bone, and she has more exciting roles to come. Jennifer will return to the huge screen in this Summer’s X-Men: First Class, and she played a part in The Beaver, which screened at the Cannes Film Festival today. She also just landed the lead in The Hunger Games. Jennifer may just be getting started, but she’s already figuring out what it’s like to get the star treatment. She spoke with the magazine about job perks, prepping for near nudity in X-Men, and her pre-Oscars meal. Here’s more of what Jennifer Lawrence had to say in Elle:
- On prepping for her role in X-Men: “I knew that if I was going to be naked in front of the world, I wanted to look like a woman and not a prepubescent 13-year-ancient boy. I’m so sick of people thinking that’s what we’re supposed to look like.”
- On getting the star treatment: “When you’re on set, everybody’s like, ‘Oh, do you need water? Here’s 45 bottles!’ It’s really bizarre. I’m still getting used to it. I’m still in wonderland.”
- On her pre-Oscars meal: “Fifteen minutes before, the guy doing my hair goes, ‘If you can get a salad, get a salad…I said, ‘I’m getting a Philly cheesesteak.’ I’m sure there’s proof on a hotel bill somewhere.”
