Harry Potter Director Chris Columbus Wants More Books!
0Maybe if EVERY Harry Potter fan in the world makes a puppy dog face at the same time, she’ll change her mind!
Even though he only directed the first two Potter films, Chris Columbus wants needs more Harry in his life! Here’s what he had to say about it:
“It’s hard to imagine it ending. When I saw the final coda in the last film, seeing Harry at like, age 34, it was a small shocking because I said to myself…’What happened between the ages of 19 and 30?’”
“There’s a whole other slew of books that I reckon could be written if J.K. Rowling can be persuaded. So we’ll see what happens. I hope we see those books.”
You should probably listen to Chris Columbus and write more books, JK! The guy directed the Home Alone movies, after all. Show him a small respect! LOLz.

Miley Cyrus Books Trip to Haiti at the Starkey Gala

Spending the weekend in the North Star State, Miley Cyrus fully immersed herself in the Starkey Hearing Foundation’s Annual ‘So the World May Hear’ Gala festivities on Saturday and Sunday (July 23-23).
The “Who Owns My Heart” singer happened to be among the guest performers, as she teamed up with Meat Loaf while joining a lineup of star power also including Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks and Kevin Costner.
As for the honorees, the Starkey Hearing Foundation – which helps people hear better through charitably funded hearing mission trips – doted accolades unto Randy Hogan, Marlee Matlin, Doug Pitt, President Bill Clinton.
Seemingly quite smitten with Miss Matlin, Miley tweeted during the gala, “@starkeyhearing is such an awesome event! Having so much fun! I can’t wait to perform! Marley Matlin is my new #hero”
Miley also won herself a return mission trip to Haiti during the gala auction, as she posted of her triumphant bid, “Going back to Haiti 
just bid at the @starkeyhearing gala and it’s confirmed! I am so excited! Bringing all my friends this time.”

Jennifer Garner took her daughters Violet and Seraphina Affleck for an afternoon at Book and Cookies, a new bookstore and bakery with activities for kids, in Santa Monica yesterday. The girls left with a bag of treats and a few colorful balloons to celebrate their successful outing. Jennifer’s husband and the girls’ dad Ben has been hard at work during the weeks, but the weekends have meant family time for the Garner-Afflecks this Summer. Ben Affleck looked hot carrying Seraphina while Jennifer held onto Violet’s hand for brunch together last Sunday. Ben’s next directorial and starring vehicle, Argo, is lining up quite a cast including Bryan Cranston and John Goodman. Jennifer has her own ensemble project coming this year when her film with Hugh Jackman and Olivia Wilde, Butter hits theaters.

Casey Anthony’s Post-Prison Plans: Babies, Books & Porn?

Just a day after a shocking jury choice could let her walk free, we’re learning what life post-prison could entail for Casey Anthony.
Following her first degree murder acquittal, letters the 25-year-ancient penned while behind bars are beginning to reveal the wide-array of plans she has for her future.
As Casey divulged to fellow inmate Robyn Adams, more kids could certainly be a possibility, as she wrote,”I had a dream not too long ago that I was pregnant. It was like having Cays [Caylee] all over again. I’ve thought about adopting, which even sounds weird to me saying it, but there are so many children that deserve to be loved,” adding that she and Adams should “get pregnant together.”
Anthony also tossed around the thought of becoming a writer, which could have her profiting from the death of her 2-year-ancient daughter, Caylee, as she described her interest in a “partial memoir/comedy/relationship advice book for those not in the know. It’s a way to settle many rumors and to share my insight about like, life and most vital – God… Who knows.”
Adding to the realm of forthcoming career opportunities, Vivid co-founder Steve Hirsch has offered the tot mom a starring role in one of the company’s adult films, saying, “Whether you agree with the verdict or not, Casey will want to go forward with her life and has a right to make a living,” he told TMZ, adding, “It’s not going to be simple for her and we believe we can help her make the transition into a new life.”

Gwyneth Paltrow dressed up in white to visit The Ellen DeGeneres Show in LA yesterday. She headed to the taping following a book signing for My Father’s Daughter at Williams-Sonoma in Beverly Hills earlier that day. Gwyneth brought her press tour for her cookbook to the West Coast after she kicked promotions off in NYC last week. She’ll continue the TV rounds with an appearance on Chelsea Lately that is set to air Monday, but first Gwyneth chatted with Ellen about her latest project and rumors that she’s getting a record contract. Gwyneth admitted that while she has yet to sign anything, she’s certainly interested in the thought and would be into different types of music rather than just poppy sounds since Britney Spears has already “cornered that market.”
