The Wanted Cause Boy Band Frenzy in Brazil
0Making another stop around the globe, The Wanted were spotted seeing well-known sites in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Thursday (September 27).
The wildly well loved Irish boy band took time to pose by the Christ the Redeemer Monument. The statue it is considered the largest Art Deco statue in the world and the 5th largest statue of Jesus in the world.
On Wednesday (September 26), the group was spotted trying to make their way through Rio’s International Airport.
It wasn’t a surprise that they were greeted by a large mob of awaiting fans, waiting to see their favorite band mates in person.

Busy Philipps and Courteney Cox share a like for interior design, and now, they’re auctioning part of their personal collections for a excellent cause. The actresses cocurated a sale on One Kings Lane, which starts at 6 p.m. tonight, with pieces donated from their own houses. Proceeds will go to The Art of Elysium. Yesterday, we caught up with Busy as she unveiled several of the items going up for sale, including the couch we conducted the interview on! Busy clarified, “This was my husband’s from his bachelor days and his adorable house by the Grove that he sold when we got married. And it just never fit in our new house together. I have really nice memories of sitting on the sofa, eating Pinkberry, watching American Idol, falling in like with him.”
Busy also touched on her show’s go to cable and the Cougar Town cast’s amusing music video to promote the upcoming season premiere. She said, “I reckon we were just looking for a fun way to announce our air date, say we were back. People thought we were canceled – so did we. Taylor Swift Drops $4 Million For a Good Cause
0Giving back in a major way, Taylor Swift is donating $ 4 million to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, according to an announcement from the institution on Thursday (May 17).
The donation made by the country cutie marks the largest grant given to the museum by an artist, and the money is said to help fund an exhibit and classroom space dubbed as the “Taylor Swift Education Center” – which is expected to open in 2014.
In a statement, the museum’s director, Kyle Young, said, “It will allow us to do what we do better, serve more people, develop new programs and I’m pleased to say that as we talked through this opportunity with Taylor, she very much wants to be involved in an advisory capacity in what we do. Is there a better person out there who’s in touch with a young audience?”
Swift has been involved with the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum for quite some time, as she held one of her first public performances in the venue’s plaza while also attending a ceremony during which she signed her recording contract at the institution.

Selena Gomez headlined a charity concert at LA’s House of Blues last night. Selena raised more than $ 200,000 for UNICEF, and she also got a huge surprise when David Beckham and his three sons dropped by to see the show. David, Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz made it a boys night out while Victoria stayed home with small Harper. It’s been an exciting week for the Beckhams following the official announcement that David will play two more years with the LA Galaxy. Hopefully that means we’ll see more shirtless victory laps around the Home Depot center from the soccer star, but for now we can admire his David’s sexy H&M bodywear ads.
Selena’s boyfriend Justin Bieber missed out on last night’s showcase, but her pal Ashley Tisdale came out to see the performance. Justin’s been in the studio working on his next album, but he managed to sneak away and take Selena to Disneyland last week. Justin and Selena were spotted kissing at a Jamba Juice following their visit to the most pleased place on earth.

Brittany Murphy’s Dad Sues Los Angeles Coroner; Plans Own Investigation Into The Cause Of Her Death
0It’s been two year since we lost Brittany Murphy, but still, she is never far from the minds of those who loved her most. Her father, Angelo Bertolotti, especially hasn’t forgotten who quickly and how strangely his daughter was taken from this world, which is why he has chose to do a small investigation of his own.
Angelo has chose to sure the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office over access to his late daughter’s hair samples. In court documents, it was revealed that Brittany’s father intends to reopen the case of her death and conduct his own testing, testing that will prove her demise wasn’t attributed to pneumonia and anemia. The docs further stated:
“Plaintiff repeatedly voiced his concerns about these findings as being incorrect, since the testing/toxicology was incomplete and the death of Brittany Anne Murphy Monjak was never fully investigated.”
Never fully investigated? That doesn’t sound right? Why would they hold back any information? If the tables were turned, we’d know, but not like this. This doesn’t make any sense.
But even still, we just hope Angelo is doing this for the right reasons. Losing a child is a horrific experience, but at some point, he’s going to need to find some closure. Maybe this investigation will be just that.

After being photographed in Oahu, Hawaii while vacationing with sister Lindsay, many are saying the young model is “frighteningly thin.”
Aside from her pencil thin frame, more concern was raised when Lohan stepped out with serious dark circles around her eyes in Los Angeles a few days ago.

Comedian Lisa Lampanelli vowed to donated $ 1,000 to GMHC for HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and care services for every anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church protestor that showed up at her Topeka, Kansas show.
44 protestors arrived to spew their ridiculous despise, allowing Lisa to donate a generous $ 44,000 to the charity.
Marjorie Hill, CEO of GMHC said:
“We are grateful for Lisa Lampanelli’s kindness and courage to fight homophobia. She is holding up a mirror to bigotry and hatred, and reflecting back like and generosity.”
