The parents of reality superstar Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, who met in an on-line chatroom nine years ago, are finally getting hitched, and TLC cameras were down in McIntyre, Georgia, to capture every glorious moment!
According to the wedding invitation, “no cell phones, cameras, or outside video taping will be allowed.”
Even better?! All guests have been instructed to dress in COMPLETE redneck styles…AKA hot pink and/or camouflage!
AH-MAY-ZING!
In all honesty, we sincerely hope that today’s union is just as magical as every second that their family has given us on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo!

Dexter Scores An Avenger And Comes Back Early!

The Showtime hit has just announced a new character being thrown into the mix for season 8 — an unorthodox shrink played by Charlotte Rampling.
The Never Let Me Go star has been in movies for four decades, but she has only done a handful of TV episodes, including a stint on the British spy series The Avengers.
Wait, a shrinking Avenger? Are you sure you don’t mean Ant-Man?
Nah, that would be too far-fetched for Dexter, the tale of a fictional town called Miami where everyone is a serial killer or the victim of a serial killer! LOLz
Also joining Michael C. Hall this season will be Boondock Saint Sean Patrick Flanery.
If it feels like the last season just finished, it’s because the new season is returning early! We can expect the killing to recommence in June!

Following Rob Kardashian‘s CRAZY Twitter rant on his break-up with Rita Ora, Kim‘s baby bro made another OUTRAGEOUS claim through the social networking site.
So yes… it does get worse than accusing Rita of cheating with 20 men!
After Rob saw a tweet supposedly written by Rita — one that claimed “Rob’s dick was wack! I get to go get it somewhere else!” — he responded by having the audacity to say:
“So you let me get you pregnant and you let others hit raw?”
WHAATT…. THE EFF!?!
While both tweets have since been deleted, some sources are suggesting the Rita tweet was crafted by a phony account… though the username seen on the screengrab (below) is in fact THE REAL Rita’s!
(Still… photoshop can be a clever bitch!)
Regardless, Rob’s tirade is a taaaad immature, no??
Even if she did cheat on him, airing the dirty laundry out in the Twitterverse like that — especially when one is making WILD claims — is just asking for distress!!

The Cannes Film Festival Comes to a Glamorous Close

Diane Kruger graced the red carpet at the closing ceremonies of the Cannes Film Festival today. She was among the juror panel that presented director Michael Haneke’s Amour with this year’s Palme d’Or, the competition’s top prize. Diane kept with her black and white theme and for her final red carpet appearance she chose a formal Christian Dior ball gown. She complimented the look with minimal jewelry, and showed no signs of the $ 45,000 engagement gift necklace Joshua Jackson reportedly bought for her during their stay in France.
Alec Baldwin and his fiancée Hilaria Thomas joined Diane, Adrien Brody, Ewan McGregor and Jean Dujardin were also on hand for a screening of Therese Desqueyroux, the festival’s final event. The Hard Times Of RJ Berger Star Comes Out Of The Closet!
0Paul Iacono, the actor who played RJ Berger in MTV’s The Hard Times Of RJ Berger, has come out to the public like it was no huge deal — as it should be!
He wasn’t even plotting on making a statement about his sexuality during an interview with The Village Voice, but when questioned if he was openly gay, Iacono answered:
“Yes. I’m rolling with the punches here. I was questioned if I was comfortable doing gay press. I said ‘Of course.’ I didn’t reckon I’d be coming out. But why not now? I reckon it’s the right time to say something.”
Yes!!! ANY TIME is the right time to say something in our opinion, but it sounds like he was never hiding his sexuality before. He just didn’t make an effort to profess it to the media until now because he didn’t feel it particularly mattered and in the future he hopes the rest of the world agrees, saying:
“I believe that in 100 years, none of us will be having to identify ourselves as gay, straight, bi, or otherwise. Sexuality will be a more fluid thing.”
We so, so, SO hope he’s right! For now though, everyone needs to have a small gay pride so others aren’t ashamed of their sexuality and can eventually come to terms with it as easily at Mr. Iacono.
Hard Times has been cancelled, but the out and proud actor will be back on MTV as a gay character (Yes! We need more! More! More!) in Kenzie’s Scale, which he described as:
“It’s about a high school sweetheart couple who go to New York for college. He has this gay awakening when they get there. So they continue living together more as friends than lovers.
Sounds like an awesome premise to us that will ultimately expose more people to homosexuality and make this world a better place! For his part in the process, Iacono is pleased to serve as an inspiration to young kids struggling with their sexuality and clarified:
“It’s fantastic that we have Chris Colfer, but we need more characters. I’m pleased to be that person so kids won’t have to grow up and be worried of their sexuality and this won’t be an issue.”
We can’t WAIT until it’s no longer an issue and are so pleased people like Paul are helping to make that future a reality.

Miley Cyrus: “Happiness Only Comes From Within”
0She’s been diligently keeping up with her fitness routine, and Miley Cyrus was back out on Thursday (March 29) for a Winsor Pilates class in Los Angeles, California.
The sporty 19-year-ancient was clad in an all-black ensemble as she grabbed up a post-Pilates smoothie before cruising away from the Melrose Ave. gym locale.
After having taken a break from social networking, Miss Cyrus is back to tweeting in full force – as she took to Twitter during the course of the day to offer up some words of wisdom.
The former Disney darling first posted a message reading, “If you take your happiness and place it in someone’s hands, sooner or later, they will break it.”
Further explaining the tweeted statement, Miley added a small while later, “Happiness can only come from inside of you & is the result of your like for yourself. You are responsible for your happiness.”
On the career front, recent reports tell that Cyrus is working with Paramount Pictures on a Christian-based film about “a young woman’s broken promise to God.”
A source told MileyCyrus.bz, “There was a meeting for the film three weeks ago, a table reading two weeks ago and they’ve been working on the scripts for the film since the March 18, 2012.”
Wilmer Valderrama Comes To Lindsay’s Defense!

Lindsay Lohan‘s former boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, has appeared out of obscurity to defend the hard-pAArtying actress’ latest shenanigans, and thinks that she deserves a break – because apparently, being able to do whatever you want in the confines of your posh Venice Beach pad just isn’t enough of one!
He says:
“Sometimes people have to go through things. We all know that, and we all deserve a second chance. I’m not worried about her at all. I reckon she’s going to get through this because she is ridiculously talented. When you like once, you always will, and you have to care.”
Yeah, well unfortunately, she’s let whatever talent she once had fall by the wayside, and at this point, we doubt that it’s enough to pull her career back out of the gutter!

Sesame Street Comes To Pakistan

Sesame Street continues to be a universal learning tool for children as it will now be broadcast in Pakistan to help boost education.
The U.S. is donating $ 20 million to fund a local version of the show, which will have the traditional New York City setting swapped for a Pakistani village.
Don’t expect to see Huge Bird or Cookie Monster though, as the show will feature new characters including Rani, a six-year-ancient female puppet with pigtails and a blue-and-white school uniform and will speak in Urdu.
Writer for the Pakistani version, Imraan Peerzada says:
“She will represent what small girls have to go through in this gender-biased society.
We are not avoiding religion‚ but we don’t want to mark children…the basic learning tools of literacy‚ numeracy‚ hygiene‚ and healthy eating have to be in place first.”
