Brad and Angelina Link Up For an Afternoon of Costume Shopping
0Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie went shopping without the kids this afternoon in LA. They stopped by the La Luz de Jesus Art Gallery before swinging by the shop Ozzie Dots, which sells all sorts of costumes, wigs, and dress-up accessories. The duo may have been buying fun getups to surprise Peter Pan fan Shiloh on her fifth birthday Friday. Angelina also has a celebration in the future, as her 36th is on June 4. The couple were casual for their errand running after a dressed-up evening at Brad Pitt’s The Tree of Life premiere. It was the latest event in a busy week for the pair following Sunday’s Kung Fu Panda 2 screening with Shiloh, Maddox, Pax, and Zahara. Angelina is also gearing up for the debut of her new Louis Vuitton campaign, and she showed some brand loyalty today by toting one of its monogrammed bags.

2011 Costume Institute Gala: A Complete Look
0Drawing one of the most impressive guest lists of any event in recent memory, the Costume Institute Gala in New York City was the place to be on Monday night (May 2).
With the glitzy soiree being held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, A-List couples such as Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z mingled with the likes of Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady during the course of the festivities.
This year’s MET Gala saw actress Salma Hayek and husband Francois-Henri Pinault acting as honorary chairs with fellow co-chairs including Oscar winning actor Colin Firth, Vogue editor Anna Wintour and designer Stella McCartney.
Meanwhile, the theme of the 2011 Costume Institute Gala was “Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty” – which acted as a tribute to the late designer with the opening of an exhibit featuring a number of his most fabulous creations, as curator Andrew Bolton said, “It’s meant to evoke a gothic fairy tale.”
Also partaking in the MET celebration were pregnant actresses Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson, as well as Rihanna, Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively, Taylor Swift, Dakota Fanning, Ashley Greene, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kanye West and Madonna.
With ex-couple Renee Zellweger and Bradley Cooper both on-hand (though enjoying themselves separately), the Metropolitan Museum of Art also welcomed Miranda Kerr, Orlando Bloom, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Lea Michele, Penelope Cruz and a slate of fellow celebrities all rejoicing the late fashion pioneer, Alexander McQueen.

Halloween Strange Creatures Costume: the Twilight Vampires
0
Are you still clueless about what costume to wear this Halloween? Still stressing out about what Halloween weird creatures to don? Instead of looking like Halloween because of stress and costume troubles, spice up the season with Twilight characters as costumes!
To help you out of your dilemma, I’ve come up with a wise list of Halloween weird creatures from the well-known Twilight series that you can rock this Halloween.
Twilight Vampires
Who says you need to go traditional about Halloween weird creatures like vampires? Since Twilight came into the picture, vampires have never been so smoldering hot. Sport the look by wearing gold or yellow contacts and those sexy incisors are a must-have if you really want to get the look right.
Edward Cullen
Place on a rock-and-roll vibe by wearing your casual jeans and t-shirt that scream the Edward Cullen style. To end the look, match it with bronze hair color, smear a small red on your lips, and make sure that you have a glowing alabaster-like look to your skin. On the other hand, if you want to look like a blood-deprived vampire, wear coal black contacts to recreate the look.
Rosalie Hale
Shock everyone with your electrifying presence as Rosalie Hale by wearing a long straight blonde wig (or a curly one if you like). Don a light beige ruffle baby-doll top and layer it with a white lacy top. Pull the Cullen crest by copying the real thing using hard clay or by just wearing a skull necklace to get the look. Accessorize with red lipstick and huge round-loop earrings to accentuate the look. Oh, and don’t forget the bright yellow contacts!
Alice Cullen
As one of Halloween weird creatures, Alice Cullen might be your small stuff, but as they always say, fantastic things come in small packages. Be Alice Cullen by wearing a black wig with a pixie-cut styling. Since she has one of the edgiest fashion sense among the Cullens, you can never go incorrect with a small black dress layered with a red cropped jacket. Wear black leather boots, choker and bangles that really yell rockstar. To really nail the look, wear red lipstick and gold or yellow contact lenses.
Jasper Hale
This tall and lean vampire is a stunner with his disheveled honey blond hair and regal stance. Sport the look by wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, black pants and black leather shoes. Then top the look with gold contact lenses and really pale skin to get the effect. Match the outfit with confidence and attitude and you are ready to rock the house as Jasper Hale.
In this day and age, originality is the name of the game. Who says you need to be like everyone else to make Halloween memorable? All you need are the right set of confidence to rock your costume, a small creativity and a fact or two about these Twilight vampires. Through this Twilight costume tips, become Halloween weird creatures all out to have fun.
