Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark Producers Sling A Sticky Countersuit At Julie Taymor!!!
0Since Julie Taymor is suing the producers behind Broadways’ Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, they’re gonna sue her right back!!
It seems like they find her claims HIGHlarious as they counter sue with their own.
In their legal docs, they state:
[Julie refused] to fulfill her contractual obligations, declaring that she could not and would not do the jobs that she was contracted to do.
Many producers would have simply given up on the production, [but they] engaged in superhuman efforts to save the Musical.
The delays and increased expense due to Taymor’s actions… in order for the show to survive, and for it to continue to provide jobs to the cast and crew and allow investors to recoup their investment…
As a result of all of the changes that Taymor could not and would not make, the Spider-Man Musical is now a hit. The show is a success despite Taymor, not because of her.
Snap, snap!!
Wonder how she can adapt that into a musical, LOL!!

The Dark Knight Rises Is Already Breaking Records – With Its Trailer!
0Wow! It’s already breaking records and it hasn’t even been released yet!
The trailer for The Dark Knight Rises was only just released on Monday, but according to a statement from Warner Bros. Pictures, the Christopher Nolan-directed conclusion to his Batman trilogy has become the most downloaded of its type via the iTunes Movie Trailers website, as well as the iTunes iOS app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch!
Furthermore, it broke the record for most views in 24 hours with 12.5 million tuning in!
Incredible! We seriously cannot wait for this!
Music Producer Timbaland Dishes Out On His Dark Secrets
0Famed producer Timbaland has battled many things in his career.
But he has also been a smashing sucess in the music business.
Working with the likes of Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliot, Nelly Furtado, and Dr. Dre, he has been a force since the early 90s.
With E!’s Right Hollywood Tale, Timbaland reveals some of his demons.
He admits to loving the late Aaliyah but chose to be a huge brother type.
He states the following:
When I first met Aaliyah—it time for the world to hear this, I’m gonna give a small secret—I was in like with her. I said, But I’m not…She just a baby, I’m ancient. I said to myself, ‘I’m just gonna be her brother.’ Oh man, I was fightin’, I was fightin’ a lot—a huge war. But I loved Aaliyah.
Aaliyah signed a record deal at 12 and allegedly married R. Kelly at 15.
She tragically passed away at 22 in a 2001 plane crash.
Timbaland also talks about his weight and his suicidal thoughts.
I was nearly 400 pounds. Who wants to be a 400-pound black man? I’m looking in the mirror, my breast is larger than a girl breast. And I was saying, ‘That ain’t cool.’ So I got very depressed, like suicidal depressed.
But now, the superstar producer is married and healthier.
Timbaland’s Tale airs Tuesday, December 20th.

Scream Awards Were Full of Surprises For True Blood, The Dark Knight Rises, Harry Potter, and More!

This year’s scariest films were honored in LA last night at the sixth annual Spike TV Scream Awards. Top prizes went to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II taking home six wins – get the entire list of Scream Awards winners here! Daniel Radcliffe couldn’t make it to the show, which airs Tuesday night at 9 p.m., but he did join the fun via telecast to accept his statue for ultimate scream. Other winners included Black Swan‘s Darren Aronofsky for best director and Natalie Portman for fantasy actress. Bradley Cooper was still smiling from his date with Jennifer Lopez while accepting a statue for Limitless, and newcomer Chloë Moretz was triumphant in best horror actress for her haunting role in Let Me In. It was a huge night for fan favorite Right Blood, who scored top billing in the best ensemble category with hunks Joe Manganiello and Alexander Skarsgard taking home individual trophies. Colin Farrell presented Robert Downey Jr. with the hero award, and The Dark Knight Rises cast Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldham, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt took a break from filming to accept the most anticipated movie statue. Other hot actors and actresses handed out awards including Zoe Saldana, Kate Beckinsale, and Dylan Mcdermott while Nicolas Cage made a grand entrance to debut an exclusive world premiere clip of his upcoming sequel Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance.

Katie Holmes Opens Up About A Possible Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark 2!

Katie Holmes recently released her first flick in quite some time, the Guillermo del Toro produced Don’t Be Worried of the Dark, and during a recent interview, touched upon the somewhat ambiguous ending – and what that would mean for a possible sequel!
She revealed:
“We never did discuss that, but now I’m wondering. I want to know what Guillermo’s thinking – he’s got so many incredible thoughts, so I don’t know.”
There certainly was a door left open at the end for more films to come, but by the same token, we’re not sure if it it’s really necessary!
Either way, we’re thrilled that Katie is once again focusing on her career and less on being a withered shell of herself attached to Tom Cruise, so keep up the excellent work, gurl!

Anne Hathaway’s “Dark Knight” Fight Scene

Showing off her cat-like reflexes, Anne Hathaway was spotted in the midst of an intense fight scene on Los Angeles, California the set of “The Dark Knight Rises” on Sunday (September 4).
The 28-year-ancient A-list actress, who plays Catwoman Selina Kyle in the last of the Christopher Nolan franchise, went head to head with a with an equally-fierce terrible guy.
After engaging in the life or death battle, Anne’s powerful moves saw her through, resulting in her win over the not-so-nice stunt man.
Following her weekend filming schedule, Miss Hathaway and beau Adam Shulman hit up L.A.’s Malo Cantina Suavecita, were the pair loved a romantic dinner ahead of the Labor Day holiday.

After Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale announced that they were shooting the third film in the Batman franchise in Pittsburgh, the town has been overrun with spies, photographers, fans, and paparazzi who have flooded the city to get the best view of the film’s set.
Now that primary filming has been completed in the city, the peeps behind The Dark Knight Rises have thanked residents for their cooperation in a very cute and unique way. They took out a full-page ad in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette with the above Thank You note.

The ad is signed by producers Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and Charles Roven along with Legendary Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures.
As a Post-Gazette editor writes:
