Sources say American Idol is cleaning house — neither Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban, Mariah Carey, or the veteran Randy Jackson are coming back for another season!
Unless your name is Ryan Seacrest, it’s time to clean out your locker!!
Wow!!! We knew RJ was on the way out and viewership was dwindling, but we never expected this kind of shake up!
Apparently Fox execs are furious over the crap-tastic ratings!
One network insider said:
“All four are gone. They feel they’ve lost their core audience and they want it back.”
Well, that’s one way to draw attention to your program!!

American Idol Has Big Changes Coming Its Way — But Enough To Save The Show?!
0It’s no secret that American Idol hasn’t been doing so well lately, despite the publicity from Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj’s feud.
Last week’s episode brought in the show’s lowest ratings, with just around 11 million viewers — down an overall 22% since last season — which means that if the show wants to remain on the air next season, it’s going to need some MAJOR changes. YIKES!
We’re sure all will be revealed in due time, but for now, any of the following changes could potentially happen, including some rumored “format tweaks…”
Say bye bye to Nicki and Mariah, or so we reckon. Idol will most likely be getting itself some new judges. A source revealed:
“The show has always taken pride in being about the contestants, not the judges. And if the judges had a small rapport with each other, it wouldn’t be all about them. Instead, all anyone ever wants to talk about is how the judges don’t get along. It’s exactly what producers didn’t want.”
The show might have to cut out its Theme Nights to stay current on the music scene. It must be able to compete with the younger, hipper Voice. As the source said, “these contestants are not interested in the ancient stuff.”
In fact, producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick, who have been running the show so far, might also have to be replaced due to their more conservative music taste.
Idol’s summer tour might also have to be scrapped for the sake of saving costs.
Hmm, we wonder which of these will be implemented. We just hope they’ll be enough to fix the show’s current problems and boost future ratings!!

Mariah Carey Will Debut Her #Beautiful Music Video On American Idol! Deets On New Manager AND Album HERE!

After all the feuding and fighting that has plagued American Idol this season, this will be a much-needed reprieve from the madness!
We’ve already gotten a taste of Mariah Carey‘s new single with Miguel, #Gorgeous, and now, news has surfaced that its music video will be premiering IN FULL on her reality competition this coming Wednesday, May 8th!
YES! We cannot wait!
Furthermore, the diva, who has also reportedly split from her manager/co-Idol-judge Randy Jackson due to busy schedules in lieu of the Red Light agency, will have her still-untitled new album ready for release sometime between June 25th and July 7th!
Sources reveal that the majority of her new tune-age is in the same vein as #Gorgeous, with more of a focus on vocals and less of a hip-hop influence than some of her more recent material!
This album could very well be the SMASH of the summer!
And it couldn’t come at a better time! We’re in DIRE need of Mimi’s otherworldly vocal prowess!

Keith Urban Let A Porn Star Suck His American Idol Right Before Nicole Kidman Marriage?!

But apparently, dude has some salacious secrets!!
A British tabloid is claiming that Keith got intimate with a PORN STAR a mere three months before his 2006 wedding to Nicole Kidman, AND that he called the sex “sensational”!
One alleged insider reveals:
“Keith told the porn star . . . how gorgeous she was, how he wanted her ‘straight away.’ She said they were drinking champagne when he told her he’d like to perform a sex act on her. The porn star hurriedly pulled him away into a private bedroom. She told her friends afterward that he was ‘sensational.’ “
Yikes! Nicole must be SUCH a excellent sport to place up with Keith’s tom foolery!

Carrie Underwood Sold Her American Idol Home
0Carrie Underwood wants Jesus to take the wheel but doesn’t really care who takes her house.
The country megastar is moving on up and out of the house she bought with the chump change she got for winning America Idol back in 2005.
The 2,956-square-foot, 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath house in Franklin, TN has been sold for a whopping $ 372,500.
She bought the pad for $ 385,000, but after selling 15 million albums and marrying a pro hockey star we’re sure she can take the loss in stride!
So, now the poor, poor superstar is gonna have to deal with owning just one home — a $ 3.2 million custom built mansion in Nashville.
What a shame!

American Idol Kris Allen Has ‘Split’ With Record Label
0Another one bites the dust.
Following American Idol winners like David Cook and Lee DeWyze, Kris Allen has “split” with RCA Records.
We’re not sure whose thought it was to part ways, but the singer’s last album didn’t do nearly as well as his first. His sophomore effort sold 15,622 in the first week of release, while his self-titled debut sold over 80,000 copies the first week.
Either way, it doesn’t sound like he’s too bummed and said in a statement:
“I wanted to let everyone know that RCA and I have chose to split ways. I thank them so much for everything that they did for me. There are so many people there that contributed to my becoming the artist that I am and I will miss them all. In saying that, I am really excited about what is ahead. The path has never been clearer to me. I like what I do and I will never stop. So, to my incredible fans, thank you so much for everything so far but things are only gonna get more fun. I promise.”
Out of 11 seasons of Idols, only four remain with RCA — Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jordin Sparks and Chris Daughtry.
We wish Kris the best of luck in the future! It sounds like he’s confident it will really be brighter without RCA in it.

Randy Jackson To Continue His Idol Run As Judge!
0Sounds like the dawg days are NOT over on Idol!
After so much speculation over the status of Randy Jackson’s position on Idol this upcoming season, it seems he will remain cozy in that judge’s seat of his and will not serve as a mentor!
As for Enrique Iglesias, who was rumored to fill the chair?
Guess negotiations fell through, because he is reportedly OUT of the picture!
With Mariah Carey still the only other judge locked in place, supposedly Nicki Minaj and country crooner Keith Urban are in the final stages of negotiations!
Either way, official announcements should be made any day now, seeing as auditions start in less than two weeks!!!

Nick Jonas Is STILL Up For American Idol Judging Spot!
0Just because names like Nicki Minaj, Enrique Iglesias and Keith Urban are being thrown around as potential judges for the upcoming season of American Idol doesn’t mean that previously-mentioned contenders like Nick Jonas are out of the running!
In fact, according to the singer, he very well still might end up on the panel!
He clarifies:
“[There's been] lots of speculation … it’s something I want to do if it was right, but it’s got to be right on both ends. It’s an ongoing discussion, but as soon as we know if it’s right… we’ll see. I would be the youngest [judge], but I’ve also been a professional musician for about eight years of my life. That’s a major question – would you be okay to criticize? If I can help someone be better, that’s the ultimate goal, not putting them down or making them feel irrelevant. As much as we are going to get along, there still is a bit of tough like there, which is vital.”
Well, we reckon X Factor newbie Demi Lovato said it best recently!
His perspective would be JUST as valuable because he’ll be representing a huge part of the audience who are in the same age range as him!
And you can’t deny he’s had a lot of experience for someone his age! And NOT just in pop music!
We don’t know about you, but we’ll be VERY curious to see who ends up making the cut onto the official line-up this year!

Nick Jonas & Pharrell Williams to Join “American Idol”?
0After the exit of Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler, and Randy Jackson, the “American Idol” judges table is looking pretty empty.
According to Us Weekly, Nick Jonas and Pharrell Williams could join Mariah Carey and fill the remaining spots.
An insider tells the magazine that the Jonas Brother is “pretty close to signing to be the ‘Idol’ judge. They flew him in to L.A. last week for final meetings.”
The singer became freed up after his four month stint in Broadway’s “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.”
As to the Neptunes power producer, ” Everything is looking excellent, but they’re still working out details,” a source says. The hitmaker recently worked with teenage British singer Conor Maynard on his new album, “Contrast,” released today (July 30).
American Idol Eyes Brad Paisley’s Yee-Haw For Judge’s Table!

Sounds like American Idol wants to lasso up a cowboy for their next season of musical competition.
With Mariah Carey in one seat, producers are looking to secure Brad Paisley for the second. And with dreamy brown eyes like that, he’s certainly got our vote! 
We don’t even have to reckon about it. He fits in perfectly with the Idol team. Not only does he have a close friendship with Season 4 winner Carrie Underwood, but he tours with another one — Scotty McCreery!
But if it doesn’t work out, we’re still down! Ha!
