Rihanna Drops LOTS Of $$$ On A Marilyn Monroe Portrait Made Out Of 65,000 Crystals!

According to a new report, Rihanna has picked up a Marilyn Monroe portrait (above) from artwork company Gemstone Creative. RiRi bought the piece for nearly £100,000.
The portrait is said to “constantly” change color, and it “sends rainbows of light round the room.” It was made over a four month period by artist Claire Milner in her Yorkshire studio.
Coolest part? The piece was made with 65,000 Swarovski crystals! Wowsa!
Here’s what the artist had to say about her work:
“I tried to show the glitter of the public life and then the sadness in Marilyn’s eyes.”
“Because of who Rihanna is, everything had to be done through her interior decorators. But they told me afterwards that she loved it.”
It looks absolutely A-MAZING! As far as extravagant buys are concerned, this has gotta be one of the best ones we’ve seen in a long time!!!

Mitt Romney Releases His Tax Returns! He Made $42.7 Million In TWO Years!!!

GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney has released his tax returns, and yeah – the guy (and his wife) made $ 21.7 million in 2010 and $ 21 million in 2011!
As far as taxes are concerned, they paid $ 3 million back to the government in ’10, and they paid $ 3.2 million in federal taxes in ’11.
Over those two years, Romney’s tax rate was slightly under 14%, which is still higher than many Americans…but still pret-ty damn low given how much $ $ $ he’s making!
And why is his tax rate so low?
“…His income was derived nearly entirely from capital gains and dividends from his extensive portfolio of investments. And that form of investment income is typically taxed at just 15%, well below the 35% top tax rate for high earners.”
Also:
“He had extensive itemized deductions, which lowered his overall tax liability.”
As far as Romney’s charitable givings are concerned, he gave away over $ 7 million over the past two years, which includes $ 4.1 mill that went to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Zach Galifianakis Says Making Puss in Boots Made Him Feel “Like a Kid”

Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek may be the focus of this week’s animated release, Puss in Boots, but their feline characters spend much of the movie being upstaged by an egg. It’s because that egg is Zach Galifianakis – the comedian voices Humpty Dumpty in the Shrek spin-off. I caught up with Galifianakis recently to talk about the fantastic experience he had working on the film, why it made him feel like a kid, and his role in another highly anticipated film, The Muppets.
BuzzSugar: You don’t do voice work on animated films that often. Why did you pick this movie?
Zach Galifianakis: They questioned me to do it. For years nobody questioned me to do anything, so I’m still in that kind of honeymoon phase where I’m like “Yeah!” When they questioned me to do it, I watched the Shrek movies [because] I hadn’t seen them before. I got really excited about it, I thought that the Shrek movies were really cute. I’m not a huge animated movie person either. I don’t really gravitate toward animated things, especially a movie. But they questioned me to be a part of it, and in the first couple of times I [recorded], my confidence wasn’t that fantastic, but I have to say: It’s so much fun. So fun to do. I wish everybody could get a chance to do it. It’s so fun. Every time I was recording, I was in the best mood. I’m as cynical as they get, and I always roll my eyes at this business, but I gotta tell you, I felt like a kid. I loved it. I really did.
Buzz: Did you ever get to meet the other actors you were recording with?
ZG: [Joking] The courts questioned me to stay away from all the other actors. No, I met all the other actors today. I hadn’t met any of them. First time.
