Jay-Z‘s got 99 problems but Mitt Romney ain’t one!
Although we’re seriously concerned about those other problems. If Jay’s got 99 problems then how many does that leave for the rest of us?
The answer is a lot!!!
Here we see the rapper perform before Barack Obama in Columbus, Ohio, Monday.
Needless to say – the performance was EPIC!!!
If this won’t convince those pesky undecided voters then we doubt anything will.
Ch-ch-check out the performance for yourself by clicking PLAY directly (above) !!!
Who said Republicans couldn’t wrangle up celebrity endorsements?!
Mitt Romney‘s special guest at an Ohio rally yesterday was Meat Loaf!
Remember him? The I’d Anything for Like rocker was huge in 1992! And he drove the bus in the Greatest Movie Ever, a.k.a. Spice World!
It turns out he’s an avid supporter of Mittens!
Or, maybe he isn’t!! It’s hard to tell because we aren’t sure whether Mitt and Meat’s duet did the former Governor’s campaign any excellent!
Ch-ch-check out Mizter Loaf’s unbelievable, indescribable, and slightly terrifying rendition of America the Gorgeous (above)!
Uh… Is this what a brain aneurism feels like?
While spouting off federal programs he would cut in order to lower the country’s deficit, the Republican presidential candidate turned to PBS news anchor Jim Leherer and said:
“I’m going to stop the subsidy to PBS. I’m going to stop other things. I like PBS. I like Huge Bird. I really like you too, but I’m not going to spend money on things to borrow money from China to pay for.”
Although he had told older audiences who wouldn’t be affected by his Medicare changes to stop listening earlier in the evening, THOUSANDS stopped listening to tweet about the Sesame Street jab.
Everyone’s favorite gigantic yellow bird became the hottest topic on Twitter so how could the organization that employs his tail feather NOT respond?
And when Sesame Workshop DID respond, it made sure to take the high road and said:
We are a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization. We do not comment on campaigns, but we’re pleased we can all agree that everyone likes Huge Bird!
— Sesame Workshop (@SesameWorkshop) October 4, 2012
So right! We don’t care if you’re left or right, liberal or conservative, Republican or Democrat — what has Huge Bird ever done but provide educational entertainment for our children?
Rest assured though. No matter who gets elected in November, Jim Henson‘s creation isn’t going anywhere. Since PBS only receives 15% of its funding from Uncle Sam, the show will go on.
Sherry Westin, executive VP and chief marketing officer of the Workshop, clarified:
“We are able to raise our funding through philanthropic, through our licensed product, which goes back into the educational programming, through corporate underwriting and sponsorship. So quite frankly, you can debate whether or not there should be funding of public broadcasting. But when they always try to tout out Huge Bird, and say we’re going to kill Huge Bird – that is really misleading, because Sesame Street will be here.”
Yayyyyy! We’d despise for future generations to miss out on one of our friendliest cultural staples. Wouldn’t U?
Two handsome, powerful men are go head-to-head on the LARGEST topics of this election!
Pressss Plaaaay (above) to see President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney argue their points streaming LIVE!
What will be the talking points? Who will have the best zingers? Which wife will be dressed best??
All our questions will be answered during the first beg debate!
Well, this doesn’t make much sense, now does it??
Back in June, we showed you a video of Mitt Romney from 1994, proclaiming his support of the Boy Scouts of America and his views on its gay members.
CLICK HERE to see the video if you missed it.
In the video, Romney stated:
“I believe that the Boy Scouts of America does a wonderful service for this country. I support the right of the Boy Scouts of America to choose what it wants to do on that issue. I feel that all people should be able to participate in the Boy Scouts regardless of their sexual orientation.”
Now, a spokeswoman for Romney is saying he STILL upholds those beliefs and confirmed:
“This remains Romney’s position today.”
What gives, Mitt???
Equality for all…in every aspect!

So she can pay less taxes!
In the worst argument a supporter of Mitt Romney can make (in the eyes of a lot of low-to-middle class liberals, at least), Jenna Jameson says she is voting for him because she’s rich.
The XXX star told sources:
“I’m very looking forward to a Republican being back in office. When you’re rich, you want a Republican in office.”
Her comment refers to the fact that Romney is against tax hikes for the wealthy, while President Barack Obama wants to raise taxes on those who make more than $ 250,000 a year.
Gurl should do a small more research before she heads to the voting booth though.
A former Justice Department official has said that the Republican presidential candidate has promised to “vigorously” prosecute pornographers under federal obscenity laws.
Oooo…that probably won’t help her career or her “rich” bank account.

Words like “daaaaaammmmmnnnnnn” come to mind!
GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney has released his tax returns, and yeah – the guy (and his wife) made $ 21.7 million in 2010 and $ 21 million in 2011!
As far as taxes are concerned, they paid $ 3 million back to the government in ’10, and they paid $ 3.2 million in federal taxes in ’11.
Over those two years, Romney’s tax rate was slightly under 14%, which is still higher than many Americans…but still pret-ty damn low given how much $ $ $ he’s making!
And why is his tax rate so low?
“…His income was derived nearly entirely from capital gains and dividends from his extensive portfolio of investments. And that form of investment income is typically taxed at just 15%, well below the 35% top tax rate for high earners.”
“He had extensive itemized deductions, which lowered his overall tax liability.”
As far as Romney’s charitable givings are concerned, he gave away over $ 7 million over the past two years, which includes $ 4.1 mill that went to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
What do U reckon about all this info on Romney’s taxes? Is UR tax rate higher than Mitt’s???
