WB Offers Movies Directly On Facebook TODAY
0
Do you like Facebook?
Of course you do!
Do you wish you could rent and stream movies directly to it using Facebook credits?
Well, maybe. We don’t know of anyone who has been vocal about wanting that specifically. Haven’t really thought about it!
If there are people out there who really want that, then today is your day! WB has announced a new digital content distribution process in conjunction with Facebook!
So, how does it work?
Example from the Press Release:
“Starting today, millions of fans who “Liked” Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster film “The Dark Knight” can rent the title through its official Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/darkknight). Consumers simply click on the “rent” icon to apply their Facebook Credits, and within seconds they will start enjoying the film. The cost per rental is 30 Facebook Credits or $ 3. This offering is presently available only to consumers in the United States. Additional titles will be made available for rental and buy on a regular basis over the coming months.”
Sounds kinda cool, especially the thought of being able to use Facebook’s functionality to comment and chat with people on the glide about it.
There’s no word whether or not there will be a group watch feature eventually, like available for Netflix on the Xbox 360.
Might have to check it out, though, we don’t know if we’ve ever even thought about getting “Facebook credits” with real intention!
It goes live today!
How about U? Does this new content availability interest U?

Celebrity Romances Fit For More than the Movies
0Celebrity Romances Fit For More than the Movies
There are many celebrity couples that started out onscreen during film time and have taken their romance to the next level.
It’s not uncommon that celebrities who meet on set sometimes end up in a relationship. Now whether or not they last is a different tale. So who are some of the Hollywood actors and actresses that have met onscreen and come out as a couple? Here are just a few of the steamy on-set romances.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie met on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith and six kids later (three adopted and three of their own) are still going strong both in their careers and as an item.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth starred in The Last Song, the new film based off the novel by Nicholas Sparks. The duo has been a hot item since filming wrapped up last summer. Miley Cyrus is, of course, super well loved as a singer/actress and well known for being Hannah Montana. Liam Hemsworth is the heartthrob of many salivating teens now, who knows how long this one will last!
Of course we have the ongoing rumors and speculation of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, the two mega-stars of the Twilight movies. The two, who denied their relationship at first, may now be taking it to the next level. Just today, rumors have spread that they might be moving in together.
There are many others that have met and are still going strong. Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr., Courtney Cox and David Arquette, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, and perhaps the most romantically successful couple, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett are all celebrity likes that have lasted.
To see all of these stars, check out movies On Demand from DISH Network who has the best movies on satellite tv showcasing these on-set romances.
