NeNe Leakes Reveals Deets On Her New Sitcom, The New Normal

In case you’ve been in a TV less cave: NeNe Leakes got her start on Real Housewives of Atlanta, scored a scene-stealing role on Glee, and NOW has a part in the new NBC sitcom, The New Normal.
The show is a new Ryan Murphy comedy, about a gay couple trying to start a family. (AW!)
On the red carpet for NBC’s upfront presentations, the reality-star-tuned-actress revealed some deets about her character, telling reporters:
“I’m Rocky, one of the gay guy’s assistants. I take it very personal, honey, if you talk about my gays, honey. Only I can talk about them and I’m fabulous. She’s very different from Roz Washington on Glee; she’s always in workout outfits and sneakers. Rocky wears high heels every day. This is very fitting for me because in my real life, you don’t mess with my gays, honey. I don’t play that.”
Does this new gig mean NeNe is leaving Glee or her BRAVO reality show?? Heeeeeeel NO!
NeNe adamantly announced:
“I hope to stay on Glee, I hope to still be a Housewife and I hope to do The New Normal. I just want to do it all! Why not? I’m only going to be young for a small while longer.”
That is EXCELLENT news!
We’d despise to see her leave either of those Fabulous shows. Still, you better be carful not to over work yourself Ne!

On Sunday night’s reunion special, Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leaks argue, continuing the fight they had from a couple weeks ago about the way in which the former treats her assistant.
“I reckon you can dish it out but you can’t take it,” Leakes tells her frenemy. “I don’t accept verbal abuse well, and I will not accept it, okay? So I am completely done.”
