Britney Spears & Simon Cowell Team Up on “The Tonight Show”
0Dishing about her hit reality show ”The X Factor,” Britney Spears pretaped an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Monday (October 29).
The “I Wanna Go” songstress was looking fab in a cleavage-baring, houndstooth and plaid mini dress as she grabbed a seat at NBC’s Burbank studios alongside Simon Cowell to chat with Leno about the FOX competition series.
And while Miss Spears is certainly used to being showered with like from her many adoring fans, she admitted that hearing boos and being critical to others while she sits at the judge’s table is a small hard.
“It’s really hard, but you know if they’re supposed to be a doctor and they’re wasting seven years of their life doing something like that… I would want to know,” the 30-year-ancient clarified.
During the appearance, which airs at 11:30PM ET/PT on NBC, Britney and Simon also treated viewers to an “X-Factor” political commercial featuring both Mitt Romney and Barack Obama.

GLSEN held their Respect Awards in El Lay Friday night. And the Inspiration Award winners of the night were Matt Bomer and partner Simon Halls!!
Up to present that handsome duo with their award was Matt’s college friend and Magic Mike co-star, Joe Manganiello (or as we like to call him, Joe Mangigalo).
When presenting the honor, Joe eloquently said:
“You are the example that the rest of our country needs to wake up and see in terms of equality and putting and end to the bullying epidemic and making sure that every family is respected in our schools and our society.”
Inncredible! Just another reason we adore that man.
Matt and Simon accepted the award graciously, with Matt stating:
“When I was in high school, there was no safe haven, there was no outlet for you to speaking your mind. So I did what any self-preserving 14-year-ancient would do—I signed up for the school play and also the football team to cover my tracks. When that happens, when you aren’t allowed to speak about who you are, one of the most authentic parts of who you are, which is who you like or is who you’re attracted to, feels invisible, GLSEN gives visibility and authenticity to kids all across the country.”
And Simon chimed in too, talking about their three adorable children, saying:
“Having kids teaches you so many things, and one of the things we both have learned in our parenting journey is how loving and accepting and open children’s minds and hearts are. Unfortunately, in some parts of the country, some kids are taught at an early age that being different is somehow terrible or incorrect or worthy of ridicule. Kids aren’t born to be bullies, they’re taught to be bullies.”
RIGHT THAT!!
We can’t wait to see a day where burdens like homophobia, racism, and sexism are no longer bred from dread. We know humanity’s heart is a caring one naturally.
And we wanna see it beat with as much compassion as it can!

Darren Criss Reveals Truth About Simon Cowell And X Factor
0Remember when rumors swirled about Darren Criss rejecting a Simon Cowell offer to host X Factor?
Well it didn’t happen how you reckon.
Darren finally set the record straight last nightat the Metropolitan Museum’s Costume Institute Ball on Monday. His thoughts:
“Oh, it made me look awesome! I had nothing to do with it, and it made me look so cool. It was, like, free press… I’m pleased to say that that was not really right.”
Pleased?? We would like to possibly have Demi Lovato and Britney Spears as co-workers?
Darren clarified why he would have declined Simon’s invitation anyway — and sadly it has nothing to do with putting A Very Potter Musical on ice. He said:
“I don’t have time. But I’m thrilled… flattered that my name was even in that world.”
So why didn’t the Glee star squash what he called a “delightfully misunderstood misunderstanding”? He admitted:
“I didn’t want to get in the way. I thought it was so cool.”
You’re right. That WOULD have been cool!!
Oh well, there are worse back-up plans than Gwen Stefani!!

Apparently the X Factor judge and model Katie Price had a bit of a fling back in the day!!
The two have always seemed extra flirty whenever the other one comes up in the press…
When questioned for an example of a perfect man, Katie has said “Maybe Simon Cowell?”
And when Simon was questioned whether or not he’d ever make Katie a judge with him, he’s said she’s his woman of the decade.
So now a source has said to hell with it and has come forward to say:
There are people around who are 100 percent sure that Simon and Kate were, briefly, an item in the early Noughties. She has admitted she fancied him and she fits his type perfectly – silicone breasts and lots of attitude.

Simon Cowell is optimistic Britney Spears will be joining X Factor for the upcoming season.
On Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show, Cowell said:
“If it was my choice [to sign Spears, I'd do it] 100 percent — if we could get her. We’ll find out very soon … if we’ve spoke to her. There are a lot of names that have been bandied around. We’ve got to keep silent about it … we’re very, very, close — I reckon were very close.”
Britney Spears would be such a coup for X Factor.
Her sitting next to Simon Cowell would be incredible!

Simon Cowell Has A Home Intruder Scare!
0It was a scurrrry weekend for Simon Cowell!
The music mogul came face-to-face with a female intruder who broke into his London home Saturday night – while he was watching TV!!
The woman somehow evaded security and broke through a downstairs window around 10 pm.
Simon says:
“It was absolutely terrifying. She could have had a gun.”
Thankfully, she was eventually arrested after Simon’s staff had her detained.
The weird thing is that he’s said to have security like Fort Knox in his home so how in the world could this woman have broken into it??
She’s got some supreme ninja skillz there!

The Voice’s Javier Colon Accepts Simon Cowell’s Musical Challenge!

The Voice season one champ, Javier Colon, has accepted the reality tv guru’s offer for the ultimate musical showdown.
Simon suggested pitting the champs of X Factor, The Voice and American Idol together in a singing smackdown last week, with this year’s winners squaring off to prove who reigns supreme.
Javier took to Twitter to accept Simon’s “super final” challenge, stating the following:
So @simoncowell recently proposed a face off btw Idol/Xfactor/Voice winners. I respect the other winners a lot but if U want a battle I’m IN!
American Idol proucer Nigel Lythgoe also responded on Twitter last week, but he was less willing and joked:
@simoncowell suggests the IDOL winner should take on the voice and x-factor winners. The problem is the Idol winner will be a star by then.
Ouch! Them are some fighting words right there! Lolz!
With X Factor US allowing managed talent to participate this season, the ante has been bumped up in case this throwdown does happen.
Will any other past and future champions step up to the plate?!
