Twilight The Host Is More Than Just A Love Triangle Between Aliens

Saoirse Ronan plays Melanie AND an alien called “Wanderer” in the movie adaptation of Stephanie Meyer‘s other book, Alien Twilight The Host.
The film’s star LIKES the tale. She likes it SO much, that she claims acting in the plot forwarding scenes (and NOT making out with two hot dudes) is the best part of her gig!
The serious actress claims:
“It’s a given at this stage that romantic tales are going to be offered to me but I’m more interested in the tale and characters. It’s just not vital if there are like scenes in it.”
Apparently what really got Saoirse interested in the part was challenge of playing TWO characters! She says:
“I have two different characters who are in like with different men…The excellent thing was that I got on so well with Max and Jake. I knew them both before we started filming and we were very comfortable working together.”
Comfortable enough to have hawt lurve scenes with?? LOL!

Twilight Composer Teases Duet Between R-Patz & On-Screen Daughter In Breaking Dawn – Part II!
0You want to know what we reckon? Okay, this is what we reckon:
Come November, some of you Twi-Hards are going to be really pleased and some of you Twi-hards are going to be really pissed off. Generally speaking, when a franchise comes to close, this is the case, but we reckon specifically the fandom is going to be divided on the final film in the Twilight Saga because of all the NEW scenes that are going to be added. Let’s get real here — we all know how the book ends and we all know there isn’t that much material to work with that will make for an exciting conclusion. Thus, we have a feeling Stephenie Meyer and Melissa Rosenberg had themselves a pow-wow and came up with some scenes to add to this movie to appease fan’s thirst for more.
Case in point: During an interview with The SAG Harbor Express, Twilight composer Carter Burwell revealed that he had to compose a song for the film specifically to be performed by Robert Pattinson and Mackenzie Foy, the young actress that plays Edward Cullen’s daughter, Renesmee.
As Carter clarifies:
“In the movie I’m working on right now, which is “Breaking Dawn: Part II,” they needed Rob Pattinson and the actress who plays his daughter to play piano onscreen. I had to write this duet before they shot the film so they could really learn the parts. Rob is a musician, so he prides himself on working out the fingering for these correctly.”
Now, right us if we’re incorrect, but we don’t ever remember there being a scene like this in the book. We can remember him playing perhaps — in fact, he’ve might even compose a lullaby for her — but we don’t remember Renesmee ever playing the piano.
And now, can’t you just picture it! Robert snuggled next to that cute small one with his eyes, playing the piano together and looking so adorable you could just BUST?! That’s what they are going for with this flick, people! Just gonna rip your heart out with all the mush and gush to the bitter end!

“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1” Premieres in LA
0Twi-hards have been chomping at the bit for this week to finally come, and tonight (November 14) the cast of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1” descended on Los Angeles.
Fans squealed as Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner made their way to the Nokia Theatre LA Live for the huge Los Angeles premiere.
Also in the house were franchise favorites like Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, and Kellan Lutz, all looking excited to be so warmly welcomed by fans and press.
Additionally, Peter Facinelli, Jackson Rathbone, Booboo Stewart, Charlie Bewley, and Julia Jones came out to join in the fun.
As for the cast’s fellow Tinseltown stars turning up to watch the magical motion picture be unveiled, celeb sightings included Ashley Tisdale, Cassie Scerbo, Willow Smith, Jennifer Like Hewitt, Bella Thorne, Cody Simpson, Bruno Mars, Dania Ramirez, Kylie and Jendall Jenner and Heather Locklear.
Less than a week away, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1” is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide this Friday, November 18th.

The Breaking Dawn Part 1 cast continued their concert tour with a stop in San Francisco last night. Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, and Charlie Bewley were all on hand at The Fillmore auditorium for the event, which included performances by Aqualung, Sleeping at Last, and Lucy Schwartz, who are all featured on the soundtrack. We chatted with the stars on the red carpet, and Nikki clarified how she’s juggling all the Twilight press with life as a newlywed while Ashley opened up about working with Kristen Stewart. Jackson shared memories from his jam sessions with Robert Pattinson and Charlie talked about being embraced by the whole cast. Check back for more on today’s PopSugar Rush!

Cloverfield Director Snags Gig On New Twilight Zone Remake!

Matt Reeves, most well-known for Cloverfield and more recently, his US remake of Let The Right One In, has been reportedly tapped by Warner Brothers to helm Jason Rothenberg‘s adaptation of The Twilight Zone TV series, which is also being produced by Leonardo DiCaprio!
Apparently, the position was seriously in demand by a variety of different, well known directors, and the final contract negotiations will be underway during the next week or so!
Unlike the last film based on the Rod Sterling classic, which was an anthology, the new project will be more of a science fiction action flick, with a single tale linked to the original in tone and aesthetic!
Well, Reeves has certainly proven he can more than handle action, horror, monsters, AND a college-aged Keri Russell unable to choose between two different, if not equally attractive suitors, so we’re curious to see what he brings to this one!

Huge news for anyone who likes to sit home and watch tearjerker TV. Nicholas Sparks, the man who brought you The Notebook, A Walk To Remember and The Last Song, has just signed a deal to write his first television show.
The show is a drama (DUH!) called The Watchers, which tells the tale of a fallen angel looking for his like on Earth. As this is Sparks first, original TV project, he’s getting help from ABC Studios and Temple Hill, best known for producing Twilight.
So, basically, during sweeps, keep an eye for the angel to take his lady like to Seattle Grace hospital, where McDreamy and Carlisle Cullen with simultaneously operate, while two temperamental brunettes hang out in the lobby, one whining about nothing and the other biting her lip.
We kid, we kid … though if you did do that, ratings would SKYROCKET!

Twilight Team Identifies Person Allegedly Responsible For Breaking Dawn Image/Video Leaks!
0Now we see why the Twilight team felt they needed such hardcore security!
Back in March, some images, photos, and videos from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn were leaked onto the Internet…and now Summit Entertainment has finally found the cuplrit! (allegedly, of course)
In an effort to show everyone that they take this EXTREMELY seriously, the studio sent out a press release naming the person who’s allegedly responsible for the leak: Daiana Santia of Argentina.
According to Summit, Santia was involved in a group that’s responsible for the leaks, and both civil actions AND criminal actions have been filed by the studio.
Here’s what Summit executive vp and general counsel David Friedman had to say about it:
“While we very much appreciate the legions of committed fans of the franchise and encourage them to make community online, we cannot ignore that property was stolen. It is not honest to the majority of fans that want to see the final chapter of the Twilight Saga film franchise fully realized by the filmmaker and dedicated cast and crew to have these images out and available on the Internet.”
