FAIL! Buffy The Vampire Slayer Reboot Script Gets REJECTED!
0Looks like absolutely everybody SMG was right when she said that a Joss Whedon-less Buffy reboot was a horrible thought!
Sources close to the upcoming Buffy the Vampire Slayer reboot flick are saying that first time screenwriter Whit Anderson’s script has been rejected.
Here’s what one of the sources had to say about it:
“If you’re going to bring it back, you have to do it right. [Anderson] came in with some fantastic thoughts and she had reinvented some of the lore and it was pretty cool but in the end there just wasn’t enough on the page.”
The project isn’t dead though, and a new writer is currently being sought. Ugh.
Maybe Hopefully after the next script fails to impress, everyone involved with this reboot will realize that they’ve made a huge mistake.

Nicolas Cage Being Sued Over Vampire Movie!

It seems like Nicolas Cage is CONSTANTLY involved in some sort of financial/personal/legal dramz, and now he’s got a new issue to contend with…or really an 11 year ancient issue!
Back in 2000, Nicolas Cage was a producer on vamp film Shadow of the Vampire, and it appears that he owes another producer from the film at least $ 77,176!
According to the lawsuit filed by Early Bird Productions, Shadow producer Paul Brooks was owed $ 77k+ for his work on the film, and Nic was supposed to pay him, but never did.
Don’t worry, Nic. We know $ $ $ is sometimes tight for ya, but we’re sure you can earn this money pret-ty quickly.
…Perhaps another couple of Ghost Rider sequels???

Kevin Williamson Says His New Show WON’T Crossover With The Vampire Diaries

This sounds like a lot of fun!!!
During a recent interview, Kevin Williamson spoke about his new pilot The Secret Circle, and he’s made it a point to emphasize that it’s an entirely separate project from The Vampire Diaries:
“My largest dread is I don’t want to be split between the two shows and I don’t want to water myself down and hurt either.”
“My goal is for Julie [Plec] and I to stay focused on The Vampire Diaries, and Andrew Miller and his team will be in place and we will help and guide him along the way [on The Secret Circle]. I’m not going to step away from my vampires. I’m too invested at this point; it’s too much of a family for me to walk away from, but there’s room in our day for me to help guide The Secret Circle along the way.”
And here’s Kevin on the similarities between the two shows:
“Those similarities exist, but the mythology is completely different.”
“The witches in The Vampire Diaries are not in the same universe. We’re not connecting them; there are no crossovers. There are no vampires and werewolves in the witch world in Secret Circle.”
“You’ll watch us build another mythology based on L.J. Smith’s books that will become as twisty and turny as The Vampire Diaries [is] but with a whole new tale. There’s an epic like tale that we hint at in the pilot that is going to blow up about two soulmates. It’s not as violent as The Vampire Diaries or as scary.”
We’re glad to hear that Kevin will continue to focus on Vampire Diaries as he pursues this next project.
And yes, as we said before, we’ll def tune in for this new show. Sounds pret-ty excellent to us!

Elizabeth Reaser Thinks Kristen Stewart is a Scary Vampire

MTV has a fantastic interview with Elizabeth Reaser from her recent appearance at the Sundance Film Festival, for her new movie Homework. Liz chats about Kristen’s huge transformation in Breaking Dawn and how newborn Bella was even a bit scary. Check out the video below:
Elizabeth Reaser, who plays Esme Cullen in the film franchise, teased at the Sundance Film Festival this week that there have been some crazy vampire scenes on set recently.
“There’s been some really cool stuff in the Cullen house with Bella,” Reaser revealed to MTV News. “There’s been some fascinating transformations happening.”
Sounds to us like director Bill Condon has been filming the well-known “Breaking Dawn” birthing scene, and that Reaser got a chance to see Bella’s transformation into a vampire. Producer Wyck Godfrey already shared that the birthing scene will be shown from Bella’s perspective to keep with the film’s PG-13 rating, but as Reaser witnessed the whole scene unfold, what was her impression of Stewart’s transformation?
“She frightened me a small bit on Thursday, I’ll be honest with you,” Reaser said. “Because when vampires are newborns, they’re stronger than any other vampires, so for a second there I thought, ‘This might not end well. She’s looking pretty pissed right now.’ It was fantastic.”

If you’re an enormous lover of enchanting fantasy books, you should certainly obtain the Twilight book collection. This selection encompasses four books authored by Stephenie Meyer, of which three of them have been turned into films.
The four books that make up the Twilight Saga are called Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.
These 4 different books described the world of a young girl called Isabella Swan and a young man called Edward Cullen. They are the two principal figures in the novels and we learn how they first met, the way they’re drawn to each other as well as precisely what makes their connection intrinsically different compared to most couples who have just entered into a relationship.
These works of fiction can be identified as being written in the style of Gothic fantasy considering the fact that we are told that Edward Cullen is a vampire as well as the fascinating detail that he will never get ancient. In reality, he shouldn’t be so interested in the youthful young lady Bella simply because she’s human. This factor should make her not merely his foe but, more importantly, his prey. Vampires commonly feed on the blood of humans but we find out that the Cullen family does not live their lives in this way.
The whole way that this family attempts to live along side the human world is what helps to make this selection of books very enjoyable. This is not your bog standard romance tale concerning a boy and a girl. There are numerous major problems en route and we are taken on the journey and learn how these two young lovers cope with everything that life throws in their path.
Once you starting reading the very first chapter of the first novel, you will not want to place it down until you have reached the final page.
